That’s why our dental checks are a part of each of our patients’ annual wellness checks.

Checkups and Cleanings
We provide complete oral checkups for your dog or cat. Dental check ups are recommended annually with your pets wellness exam.
Our “Pet Wellness Rewards” members receive two free physical examinations each year plus 10% cash back towards any future services! Their are many other benefits for you and your pet… you’ll love this program!
After an oral check, a complete dental cleaning may be recommended.
Dog & Cat patients who receive dental cleanings receive the following:
- Pre-anesthetic blood work and internal organ screen
- Anesthesia – Anesthesia Handout
- Surgical monitoring including blood pressure and EKG
- Complete and thorough dental cleaning of teeth and gums
- Dental radiology
- Pain medication
Follow-Up
We also provide periodontal care and follow-up for patients diagnosed with periodontal disease. At Otay Pet Vets, we are committed to client education about at-home oral care as well, because a strong foundation of home care is one of the keys to a healthy mouth. Our team can provide education about home dental care, including brushing instruction. We also provide a variety of dental products including:
