Dr. Kevin J. Anderson,  DVM, MPH, DACVPM
Dr. Kevin Anderson is the Medical Director and owner of Otay Pet Vets. He is a compassionate and thorough doctor with excellent client service skills. He understands and listens to client questions and concerns about their pets, he cares about the pet’s health, and he takes the time to educate clients about their pet’s needs and to answer questions.  Dr. Anderson is known as a family man and has been married to Deborah for 27 years; they have three adult children. Dr. Anderson retired from active duty after a 20-year military career as a United States Army veterinarian, where he traveled to five continents providing veterinary care services and training to military troops and countries in need. During his military career, he managed numerous multi-sized clinics in many countries including Korea, Japan, Bahrain, and Germany. Dr. Anderson is a board certified veterinarian with more than 24 years of veterinary experience, with strong diagnostic skills, and expertise in public health and foreign animal diseases. He holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Tulane University and he is a Foreign Animal Disease Diagnostician.

Dr. Gilbert graduated from Michigan State University Veterinary School and has advanced training in emergency medicine and critical care following a one year internship at an Emergency Referral Hospital.  With Dr. Gilbert on board, we now have one more way to serve you better by providing your pet with the best possible care available.  We invite you to tell all your friends and family about our complimentary pet dental exam, and look forward to them and  you meeting the newest member of our team.
